Special Project Grants are available to groups and agencies that would like to run or host events, workshops, programs and services that support the social wellbeing of Yellowhead County residents.  Previous grants have supported intergenerational programs, drop-in programs for young families, seniors clubs, youth groups, womens’ conferences and others.  These events or services must be located within the County proper and cannot be used for services that are recreation-focused, provide funds directly to individuals for their needs, or are rehabilitative in nature.

Grants are considered and approved by the FCSS Advisory Board, which meets approximately every second month.  Grant applications should be submitted 2 weeks prior to the board meeting for consideration.
