Council meeting are scheduled for
the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.
The Council Governance & Priorities Committee meeting are scheduled for
the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Summer and holidays may have a revised schedule.

Council Meetings are recorded and available for the viewing public from 4:00 PM on a Council Meeting Day and will be available for 48 hours.

You will need to download the Zoom application and set it up prior to joining the live stream. Available on your phone, tablet, or PC desktop or laptop. You can also download the Zoom app at the Google App Store or the Apple App Store.

Publicly broadcast meetings can be viewed using the above website link. Presenters at private meetings will receive an email invite and a meeting link.

Zoom Frequently Asked Questions:

Do I Need to Purchase the Zoom app?
No, you don’t need to purchase the app to use it to view the Council Meeting. However, you will need to give an email to login with the Zoom app. This is a requirement of the Zoom app and is completely independent of Yellowhead County. We do not have access to this email.

Do I have to use the Zoom App to hear the meeting?
No, you can also call into the meeting using the numbers and the webinar ID provided below. If the number you choose doesn’t connect you due to connectivity issues, then hang up and try one of the other numbers.

Will I be able to interact with the meeting?
No, the Council meeting is for viewing only and you won’t be heard or visible to other participants or Yellowhead County. The goal of the livestreaming of the meeting is to allow the council meetings to continue to be open to the public while the County’s offices and Council meeting rooms are closed to the public during COVID-19.

What if I can’t connect to the meeting?
We advise you to make sure the operating system on your computer or mobile device is up to date and the latest version of Zoom has been downloaded to your device. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to give technical assistance for the Zoom App and we suggest downloading and testing the Zoom app before the meeting date to ensure it works on your device.
