After polls closed throughout Yellowhead County at 8:00 p.m. on October 18, votes from the day were combined with advanced polling and special ballot results resulting in a Mayor and eight councillors. Yellowhead County would like to thank all candidates for putting their name forward in service of this municipality.

There were 3168 valid votes cast in the Municipal Election for Yellowhead County out of the 9015 eligible voters (AB Municipal Affairs) resulting in a 35% turnout rate.
Results become official at 12:00 P.M. on Friday October 22, 2021.
The newly elected Council will be sworn in on Tuesday October 26, 2021 at the Yellowhead County Edson Administration office.
