Farm Material Recycling
Farmers are invited to return their unwanted agricultural film, including silage cover, silage bags, bale wrap, greenhouse film, and twine to participating sites. All materials must be clean, dry, separated, and bagged. Collection bags are available free of charge at the Edson Recycling Depot or the Yellowhead County Wildwood Office. Grain bags, net wrap and feedbags will not be accepted.

Herbicide Container Recycling
Yellowhead County also has 3 collection sites for the recycling of Herbicide Containers up to 23L.
Follow these 3Rs to ensure that your containers are accepted and can be recycled:
Rinse – Triple or pressure rinse to ensure no product is wasted. Review our standard operating procedure for details*.
Remove – Remove caps and booklets (place in garbage); leave the glued-on label. Remove metal handle from fertilizer pails.
Return – Return to your local collection site. Collection areas in Yellowhead County are at the following locations :

Plastics Roller Rental
Agricultural producers can now access a Kirchner Machine Plastics Roller. This pull-type Roller is ideal for most Ag plastics and requires a 50hp+ tractor with hydraulic outlets.
