EVACUATION CENTRE SUPPORTS

The following supports are available at the Reception Centre set up at the Edmonton Expo Centre (7515 118 Ave NW, Edmonton).

• Registration

• Red Cross – accommodations for those that qualify.

• An insurance company is on hand to help people to determine people’s coverage. (Please keep all receipts).

• Lodging for people who choose to stay at the Expo Centre,

• Psychosocial support and clothing support (short-term assistance)

Tomorrow (June 12th), a Seniors, Community, and Social Services Ministry (SCSS) team member will be at the reception centre from 8:15 am – 4:30 pm to provide assistance and information on what Emergency Evacuation Funds and other income supports are available.
