EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

(NOTE: This is different from being eligible for Emergency Evacuation Payments – EEPs). 

Residents requiring additional support can be directed to:  

Income Support Contact Centre (ISCC):

• Emergency financial assistance outside of extended hours is available to eligible Albertans through the ISCC
• Albertans can call ISCC toll-free at 1-866-644-5135 to access this support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  

Albertans needing emergency financial benefits may qualify for assistance with accommodation, food, clothing, transportation, and Health benefits (prescriptions, medical supplies, optical, and dental may be issued as needed).
