Land Use Bylaw Rewrite Survey Results

Yellowhead County would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone participating in the 2021 Yellowhead County Land Use Bylaw Rewrite!

Building on the 200 responses from the first survey, this survey saw nearly 580 responses from residents and business owners in the county. It included questions regarding a variety of land use issues that were identified by residents in the first survey.

The results of the second Land Use Bylaw rewrite survey can be found here.

This information (along with comments from the first survey, the project Steering Committee and focus group meetings with local gravel and tourism business owners) will now be used to put together a draft Land Use Bylaw.

The resulting draft Land Use Bylaw will be presented for public feedback, Steering Committee review and further revisions in early 2021, with the goal of appearing before Council in March 2021.
