Appointment of Weed Inspectors
Council appointed Nancy Brochu; Janet Miles; Jade Weiss; Danielle Deschenes; Wesley Walker; Kyla Malcolm; Christopher Walker; Scott Meadwell; Cheryl Ridgers; Carson Benson and Stephanie Perrault as Yellowhead County inspectors for 2025 pursuant to the Alberta Agricultural Pests Act and Weed Control Act.

Road Use Request
Council for Yellowhead County voted to refuse the use of road allowance Range Road 113 (located between SE-16 & NE-09-54-11-W5M and SW-15 & NW-10-54-11-W5M) for agricultural purposes. The proposed usage of the road allowance does not comply with Administrative Directive 3200.04A (Use and Closure of Road Allowances and Other Roads).

Laneway Closure
Council gave Second and Third Reading to Bylaw 13.24 to close a portion of an undeveloped laneway located in Plan 2120MC. Following this decision, Administration will proceed with the sale and the applicant receiving approximately 0.158 acres for $3,750, with any associated costs covered by the applicant.

Rail Crossing Grade Standard Exception
Council accepted CN Rail’s proposed upgrades on Carldale Road and will grant an exception to the design standard of 6% maximum grade, permitting the proposed 9% grade for this specific upgrade.

Mayor’s Corporate Credit Card 2024 Review
Council received the 2024 annual update for the Corporate Credit Card for the Mayor (Policy 1200.23) and voted to accept the report for informational purposes.
