Did you know that Yellowhead County Agricultural Services has a new seasonal Horticultural Technician to answer your tree and garden questions and concerns?

Services include tree and plant identification, tree pruning advice, tree and plant disease identification (and recommendations or referrals), and even garden soil testing!

Garden Soil testing provides a basic range result for pH, Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potassium. There is a limit of one (1) garden soil sampling per household and testing is on a first come, first serve basis. Testing is subject to availability of testing supplies, with priority given to gardens that are exhibiting growth concerns.
