Organizational Meeting – October 15, 2022
Deputy Mayor – Councillor Mitchell was declared by Mayor Williams as the Deputy Mayor for a one-year term ending October 24, 2023. The Deputy Mayor fulfills the role of the Chief Elected Officer when the Mayor is unavailable.
Board Appointments of Yellowhead County Councillors – Council members were appointed by Mayor Williams to several Yellowhead County Boards, Joint Boards with other Authorities, and various external boards and committees. Some of these boards are Statutory Boards and are required by the provincial government to be created by a local municipal government. The full list of appointments can be viewed below.
Appointments of Residents to Yellowhead County Boards – Council appointed several residents to various Yellowhead County Boards including two statutory boards that are required by provincial legislation.
- Heritage Advisory Board – Trudy Van Dyk
- Library Board – Susan Otway; Sandra Cherniawsky
- Subdivision and Development Appeal Board – Tanya Sawicki
- Family & Community Services Advisory Board – The appointments to the Family & Community Services Advisory Board have been deferred until the November 22, 2022 Council Meeting.
