Yellowhead County, AB (October 30, 2025) – The newly-elected Yellowhead County Council was sworn in for the 2025-2029 term on October 27, 2025 before completing two days of Council Orientation.
The 2025 Organizational Meeting took place on October 29.
Deputy Mayor: Councillor Brigitte Lemieux was elected as Deputy Mayor for the term of October 29, 2025 to October 29, 2026.

Appointment of Members-at-Large to Yellowhead County Boards and Committees: Yellowhead County has established seven boards and committees comprising of Council members and members-at-large. Council appointed the following individuals based on the boards/committees that required members-at-large due to resignation or term ending:
Agricultural Services Board: Katelyn Banks, Chris Fossheim, Edwin Munro.
Heritage Board: Michael Ciciarelli, Mark Mitchell.
Library Board: Jacqueline Smith, Joycelyn Pelkey.
Recreation Board: Angela Tumac.
Subdivision and Development Appeal Board: Amanda Tangedal, Shawn Berry, Lisa McCartney, Darrell Talpash, Andrew Bates, Holly LeFrancois.
Four members-at-large for the Agricultural Services Appeal Board and one member-at-large for the Family and Community Support Services Board are still required. These positions will be re-advertised.
