The Council for Yellowhead County recognizes the need to establish speed zones in areas where there is a high density of residential development and a concern for the safety of the travelling public and pedestrians. Residents may request for speed limit changes but must meet the requirements set out by the Speed Limits Bylaw and the Set or Lower Speed Limits Policy.
