Yellowhead County Seniors Appreciation is coming up this June 18 at the Wildwood Community Hall! The event will feature learning presentations, a catered lunch, entertainment, and door prizes.
Julie Matthews, former Global TV Trouble Shooter, will share tips and tricks to spot the latest frauds and scams. You can learn to recognize the red flags and the steps to take if you have been victimized. Fraud is the fastest growing crime in Canada and it’s difficult to stay on top of the latest schemes. Education on fraud tactics is critical to keeping our families and communities safe.
Doors will open at 10:00 am, with a Dignitaries Welcome at 10:30 am, followed by Julie’s presentation at 11:00 am. Then, Pembina River Catering/Westend Meals on Wheels will provide a catered meal. Entertainment provided by Elmer Riehl and his band.
