Join Yellowhead County’s Heritage and Agricultural Services Departments for this great Birch Tree Workshop! Learn about some of the traditional uses of Birch Trees!

Learn hands-on how to make birch syrup, chaga tea, birch flour for baking, a birch decoction for the treatment of rashes, and a birch tincture! Taste the food items and make samples of the tincture and decoction to take home!

April 18th 1pm-4pm Wildwood Community Hall
$25/person, includes snacks and refreshments.
Part of the workshop will include walking on the Wildwood trails to look at birch trees and the collection process for syrup. Please dress for the weather and wear good walking shoes.
