⚠️ NOTICE TO RESIDENTS AND ROAD USERS ⚠️

Rock Lake Road Maintenance and Upgrades
📅 September 8 – October 15, 2025

Yellowhead County will be conducting road improvement and maintenance work on Rock Lake Road, North of Hinton.

🚧 Scope of Work Includes:

  • Road Base Improvement in three locations (Approximate distance from entrance: 9KM, 13KM, 16KM)
  • Brushing and clearing of overgrown vegetation to improve visibility in areas throughout the entire road

📍 Affected Area:

  • Specific brushing and construction zones will be active throughout the project duration

⚠️ What to Expect:

  • Construction crews and equipment operating along the road
  • Temporary traffic delays
  • Reduced visibility and narrowed lanes in active work zones

🛑 Safety Reminder:

We kindly ask all residents, recreational users, and operational traffic to:

  • Slow down and drive with caution
  • Obey all posted signage and flagging personnel
  • Avoid unnecessary travel through the area during peak work hours
