Yellowhead County would like to remind residents that local farmers will soon be starting harvesting operations which will mean high volumes of farm equipment will be travelling along our local roadways.

We ask that you please be cautious when you see farm equipment on the road and respect that they are travelling with large equipment that is difficult to maneuver, has limited visibility blind spots, and cannot travel at fast speeds.

These hard working local producers have a very limited window to get all of their work completed so we thank you for your patience and attention when sharing the road with them. Your safety, their safety, and other motorist’s safety should be everyone’s top priority.
