Public Hearing 03.25 (Rural District to Country Residential District LUB Amendment)

A Public Hearing was held for Bylaw 03.25 being a Land Use Bylaw amendment to redistrict a Part of SW-31-53-16-W5M, located northeast of Edson, from Rural District to Country Residential District. The redistricting is intended to facilitate a future subdivision application to create two lots within the parcel. No responses from the public were received. The bylaw will be brought back to the September 23, 2025, Council meeting.

Bylaw 04.25 (Disposal of Municipal Reserve in Evansburg)

A Public Hearing was held for Bylaw 04.25, being a bylaw to dispose of Municipal Reserve on Plan 8321548 Block F Lot 1MR, Plan 3403KS Block 10 Lot R, and Plan 3403KS Block 11 Lot R, located in Evansburg. Two written responses from the public were received. The bylaw will be brought back to the September 23, 2025, Council meeting.

Marlboro Hall Kitchen Renovation

Council directed Administration to proceed with the commercial kitchen project at Marlboro Hall using the U-shaped Kitchen Design (Option 3). The estimated cost of $686,200 will be included in the 2026 budget.

2025 Property Tax Auction & Reserve Bids

Council set the 2025 Property Tax Auction date for November 19, 2025, at 10:30 am at the Edson Administration Building and adopted the reserve bids and conditions for the properties listed in the 2025 Property Tax Auction.

Development Assessment of Possible Residential Lots in Evansburg

Council directed Administration to bring forward options for land development for Evansburg at a future council meeting.
