Letter of Support Cadomin – Yellowhead County Council approved a Letter of Support for the Cadomin Community Society for their Federal 2023 CFEP Grant application.

Road Closure Request – Council passed a resolution to close Road Plan 3961JY located within SW-03-55-14-W5M and will forward the resolution to the Minister of Transportation for approval.

Culvert Flood Recovery Program – Council approved the 2023 culvert failure rehabilitation program and approved un-budgeted funds of $1,750,146.00 from Restricted Surplus Funds: Infrastructure Reserves-Roads and Bridges and to bring back repair options for culvert structure No.7 on Range Road 183A to a future Council Meeting.

Bridge Flood Recovery Program – Council approved the bridge rehabilitation program for Bridge No.1 on TWP Road 535 (Carrot Creek) and Bridge No.2 located on North end of RR 165 (Tom Hill Tower Road) with un-budgeted funds of $535,346.00 from Restricted Surplus Funds: Infrastructure Reserves-Roads and Bridges; and to bring back repair or replacement options for bridge structure No.3 on Range Road 170A to a future Council Meeting.

Hinton Snow Removal Contract – Council awarded the 2023-2028 (multi-year) snow removal and ice control, winter maintenance contract to West Ridge Sand & Gravel Ltd. at the hourly average rate of $187/Hr (GST excluded).

Property Tax Auction & Reserve Bids – Council set the 2023 Property Tax Auction date as November 16, 2023 to commence at 10:00 AM at Yellowhead County’s Edson Administration Building.

YCE Multipurpose Facility Design Contract – Council for Yellowhead County, in partnership with the Town of Edson, awarded the Design Consulting Services contract for the YCE Multipurpose Facility Expansion/Renovation Project to GEC Architecture for $3,931,200.
