Regional Waste Authority – Council voted to approve the MD of Greenview to join the West Yellowhead Regional Waste Management Authority as the organization’s fifth member. Ag Society Funding – The Yellowhead Agricultural Society will receive $100,000 from Yellowhead County towards loan repayment for repair and mold abatement work at the Ag-Society’s facility. Council approved funds to be used explicitly for the repayment of the loan tied to the remediation of the ag facility and the County receiving bank documentation confirming the loan.
Pine Hall Funding – The Pine Grove Community Association will receive a $5,000 operational grant advance to help maintain hall operations following a request from the association. The financial assistance is part of Yellowhead County’s Community Recreation Grants program and will help cover annual operating costs and other upcoming expenses.
Zoning Bylaw – Bylaw 16.22 received first reading and would allow for a lot within SW 08-54-16-W5M to be rezoned from Rural District to Country Residential District allowing the property to be subdivided to accommodate a single lot subdivision. A public hearing for the bylaw is scheduled for November 22, 2022.
