Edson & District Recycling Society (EDRS) Contract Extension – Council extended the current EDRS contract for recycling services to June 30, 2024 before the implementation of the province’s Extended Producer Responsibility Program (EPR) in 2025. Council asked Administration to review alternate service delivery options and report back by spring of 2024.

Tender for Range Road 171 Rehabilitation – The tender for the construction and rehabilitation of Range Road 171 was awarded to Plains Construction Canada Ltd who submitted the lowest bid of $1,972,429.00.

Asphalt Paving of County Facilities – In an effort to improve safety, beautification, and functionality, Council approved the full asphalt paving beside the Edson Administration Building. This will provide additional parking spaces and improve safety and convenience for visitors and County staff. The project has an estimated cost of $380,000.
