Residents Opposed to Route of Pathway to the Park
Residents Collette Walker, Shelley Byrne, and Darren Byrne presented to Council, sharing their reasons for opposing the proposed Pathway to the Park route. Concerns included increased traffic to the area, trapline interference, forest fire risk, trail management and safety, and more. Council accepted the group’s presentation as information.

BF73079 Culvert Replacement Tender Award
Council awarded Tender 2026-73079, Bridge Culvert Replacement and Other Work at Bridge File 73079 to Strydhorst Enterprises Ltd. in the amount of $617,081.60.

2026 Bridge Maintenance Tender Award
Council awarded Tender 2026-06973, 2026 Bridge Maintenance and Other Work to Volker Stevin Highways Ltd. in the amount of $596,400.00 and authorized the unbudgeted expenditure of $80,000.00 to be taken from the Restricted Surplus Fund, Infrastructure: Roads and Bridges to cover the unbudgeted portion of the work.

Wildwood Surplus Property Letter of Interest
Administration was directed to submit an expression of interest to Alberta Infrastructure for the purchase of Lot 3, Plan 9620320, and Lot 4, Plan 9620320 with the noted intent to resell the land at a future time for economic development purposes.
