Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Conference
Council directed Administration to register Mayor Wade Williams and Councillor Dawn Mitchell for the 2025 Annual Federation of Canadian Municipalities Conference.
Evansburg Residential Lots
Council directed Administration to proceed with the development of new residential lots at the end of 45th Avenue in Evansburg. The parcels, already owned by the county, could be upgraded for services while local improvements are occurring resulting in cost efficiencies.
Niton MacKay Gravel Area 2025-2027 Tender
Council awarded Tender 2025-868 (2025-2027 Niton/MacKay Area Gravel Supply contract) to Mcleod Valley Sand & Gravel Ltd. (1686301 AB Ltd.) in the amount of $1,102,500 for the supply, stockpile and loading of gravel for the next three years in this area. This was the lowest of the tenders received. An additional $125,250 is required in the 2025 budget to fulfill the contract amount.
Rosevear Gravel Area 2025-2027 Tender
Council awarded Tender 2025-867 (2025-2027 Rosevear Area Gravel Supply contract) to A. Gering Ranching Ltd. in the amount of $1,554,000 for the supply, stockpile and loading of gravel for the next three years for the summer gravel program in this area. One tender was received.
Shiningbank Gravel Area 2025-2027 Tender
Council awarded Tender 2025-869 (2025-2027 Shiningbank Area Gravel Supply contract) to
A. Gering Ranching Ltd. in the amount of $777,000 for the supply, stockpile and loading of gravel for the next three years for the summer gravel program in this area. This was the lowest of the tenders received.
