Help us fill our photos with smiling faces!
Thanks to a great community response, the Call for Models is currently on hold as of August 5, 2025! We will repost on social media if/when we are opening the call again. Thank you so much!
We are looking to take photos of individuals and families who enjoy getting out and experiencing Yellowhead County. Photos may be used to promote Yellowhead County through newsletters, social media, our website, and other promotional materials.
Activities we would love to photograph include using County playgrounds, pumptracks, and other facilities, as well as visiting local campgrounds and nature spots, or other ideas you may have!
Those who get photos taken will receive Yellowhead County swag for participating!
How do I sign up?
- If the call reopens, this will be updated with where to apply! The Call for Models is currently closed.
- In the “Your Message” section, please include the following information (as best you can):
- approximate number of people you would be able to bring
- approximate ages of individuals
- equipment you can bring with you (example: bike, scooter, fishing equipment, etc)
- location(s) you’d be interested in meeting at for photos (example: Peers pumptrack)
- your general schedule when it may work to meet and/or any specific dates/times you plan to be in these areas
- a phone number (if you are not easily reachable via email)
Then what?

- Once a time/place is selected:
- we’ll send over a “model release form” to be completed for those participating – they can be signed and submitted electronically. A parent/guardian will need to sign for any minor(s). We’ll also have paper copies when we meet up if that’s easier for anyone! Note: A parent/guardian/responsible adult will be required to be in attendance throughout the photoshoot.
- If you’re bringing a minor that is not yours, we ask that you have their parent/guardian fill out a release form for them beforehand.
- we’ll meet at the agreed time/place and take some photos! The sessions will not be overly directed, we will just be there to take photos as you enjoy some of what Yellowhead County has to offer!
- We’ll bring some Yellowhead County swag for those participating to choose from! Items may include hats, waterproof phone holders, chargers, water bottles, blankets, umbrellas, etc.
- we’ll send over a “model release form” to be completed for those participating – they can be signed and submitted electronically. A parent/guardian will need to sign for any minor(s). We’ll also have paper copies when we meet up if that’s easier for anyone! Note: A parent/guardian/responsible adult will be required to be in attendance throughout the photoshoot.
- Please note that scheduling may not work out to be able to take photos of everyone. We greatly appreciate all of your time and will do our best to meet with as many as we can.
