DESCRIPTION:Paddleboard Yoga is back! \nPaddleboard Yoga is a super fun activity that is beginner friendly – no paddleboard or yoga experience is needed! There are even boards you can borrow\, although there is a limited number so be sure to book your spot. Classes will begin at 7pm sharp\, so arrive early enough to be on the water by then. \n \nClasses will be held at Millers Lake\, meeting at the West End (by the playground) on the following dates: May 27\, June 10 & 17\, July 22 & 29\, and August 12 & 19. Classes are held from 7pm to 8pm but they are weather-dependent so check in with instructor Renae if you’re unsure! \nPaddleboard Yoga requires pre-registration and costs $10 per class. With hiking stops at Brule’s mine ruins and the Pet Cemetery\, this fast-paced tour will provide a basic understanding of the rugged history of Yellowhead County’s west end.\n\n\n \n\n\nTickets are $40 per person and include lunch. SUMMARY:Farmyard Friends - Peers - Adventure Play Camps
DESCRIPTION:Yellowhead County FCSS is very excited to offer their Adventure Play Camps again this summer! \nThese camps offer a chance for children to try new activities\, explore their creativity\, and build confidence while away from their parents. \nThe cost is $5 per camp for ages 3-5. Campers will enjoy hands-on activities\, leadership opportunities\, socializing with peers\, and learning new skills. \nCamps are $20/week or $5/day for children ages 6-11. \nWe offer two awesome themes\, Wild West Wonders and Curiosity Camp\, with each week focusing on a specific theme. \nWILD WEST WONDERS:\nWelcome to the Wild West\, where we will prospect for gold\, witness a dynamite explosion in a baking soda volcano\, try to outrun the sheriff in an obstacle course\, and finally\, rope in some fun with a western twist on ring toss. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of fishing with our annual Kids Can Catch event on Thursday\, July 3 from 5:00-7:00pm! \n\n\n \n\n\nCome out to Millers Lake Day-Use Area (East End) and enjoy an evening of fishing! The event will include a fishing rod raffle and a FREE BBQ put on by SECURE Energy. Local Conservation Officers and Fish & Wildlife experts will be on site to help with all your fishing needs and answer any questions.\n\n\n \n\n\nBring your own rod\, or borrow one of ours!
