DESCRIPTION:**The Birch Tree Workshop is now SOLD OUT!! Thank you for your interest!** \nJoin Yellowhead County’s Heritage and Agricultural Services Departments for this great Birch Tree Workshop! Learn about some of the traditional uses of Birch Trees! \nLearn hands-on how to make birch syrup\, chaga tea\, birch flour for baking\, a birch decoction for the treatment of rashes\, and a birch tincture! Taste the food items and make samples of the tincture and decoction to take home! \nApril 18th 1pm-4pm Wildwood Community Hall\n$25/person\, includes snacks and refreshments.\nPart of the workshop will include walking on the Wildwood trails to look at birch trees and the collection process for syrup.
