Vegetation Management – Mowing

The regular annual Mowing of Vegetation along Local Roads will be taking place throughout Yellowhead County between early July and September.

Please be aware of crews and equipment.

Gravel Program

The regular annual Summer Gravelling of Local Roads will be taking place throughout Yellowhead County between early June and late August. This work will help extend the life and usage of these areas and will result in a better road system and safety for traffic on these routes.

Please slow down around flagging crews. Allow work crews and vehicles the space needed to complete their work. Please reduce speed in work zones.

Motorists are required to obey all posted construction signs.

Shoulder Pull Work

Yellowhead County will be doing annual shoulder pull work on its roadways this construction season. This work will help extend the life and usage of these roads by bringing the road back to its proper width by reshaping existing materials from the roadsides and ditches.
