At 1330 hrs, March 17, Premier Jason Kenney announced the declaration of a State of Public Health Emergency. As such, the Provincial Operations Centre (POC) has elevated to Operational Level 4.

Effective immediately and until further notice, the Alberta government is implementing additional measures, including cancelling events that have more than 50 people.
