Notification for construction activity on the Elk River Road

Replacement of Bridge File Culvert on Elk River Rd
Location: Elk River Road (Twp Rd 460A), 54 km SE of the Hamlet of Robb, approximately 4 km East of the Junction of Elk River Rd and Hwy 734 (Forestry Truck Rd)
Scheduled Start Date: February 1, 2021
Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2021

Project includes:

• Removal and replacement of the culvert on Elk River Rd,
• A 4-metre wide bridge with a 100-ton weight rating will be installed on site as detour,
• One-way traffic will be directed through the detour by use of temporary traffic signals installed at each end of the bridge,
• Operations will continue 24 hours/day,
• The road will remain open but there will be occasional minor delays.
