County Kids Adventure Camps

Kids 7-11 can take part in our summer ‘A Pirate’s Life!’ day camps that are being held at several locations across Yellowhead County beginning in July. Registration starts on June 29. Space is limited to register early!

All camps are for children 7-11
Registration costs are $5/day, $15/week
Due to limited Capacity, payment is requested to confirm registration within 48 hrs.

Theme: A Pirates Life

Its time to weigh anchor and we need all hands on deck for this adventure!

Landlubbers, get ready to transform because every pirate needs a specialized name and garrrrb! At A Pirates Life camp, design a hat, eye patch, flag and more to complete your look and help you on your way.

As we cast off on our epic pirate quest, we will be sure set anchor to search for some hidden treasure. But there may be a few obstacles along the way!

Along with the crew, we will work together to explore uncharted waters and navigate the high seas. Come find out what A Pirate’s Life is all about!

Yellowhead County summer camps are designed to keep children active and engaged throughout the summer. Each week features hands-on activities, leadership opportunities, a chance to socialize with peers and learn new skills!

Please note: in response to the covid-19 pandemic, our summer program has been modified to align with guidelines put in place by the Government of Alberta.

County Kids Awesome Adventure Camps

Starting in July, FCSS will offer a modified summer program.

While there are some significant changes from previous years, our goal remains the same- to keep children active and engaged throughout summer. 

Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays

Hours: 10:00-2:00

Location: Yellowhead County owned facilities

Ages: 7-11

Program Capacity: 8

Cost: $5 per day

Safety Precautions

Following the guidelines set out by Government of Alberta and Alberta Health Services, Yellowhead County FCSS will be enhancing safety measures to keep children, families and staff safe. These precautions include:

  • Reduced capacity- there will be a maximum of 8 children with 2 staff on site
  • Daily temperatures and health screenings will be required
  • Increased daily cleaning and sanitizing procedures
  • Use of personal protective equipment as required
  • Other precautions are outlined by Government of Alberta
