Annual Farmers Appreciation – Celebrating Our Hard-Working Local Producers

Yellowhead County would like to thank all of our incredible farmers for all that they do to keep our communities vibrant and thriving.

This year’s Annual Farmers Appreciation event will look a little different. In lieu of a pancake breakfast the Agricultural Services Department has put together several draws for gift certificates to some of our local businesses.

$250.00 Gift Certificate to Mike the Mechanic in Peers goes to Kevin Wigley!
Thank you to our local producers for all that you do!

We hope to return to our traditional pancake breakfast event for 2022, but until then we encourage the friends, families, and neighbours of our local producers to connect with them and show their appreciation for all the hard work that they do.

Local producers that are actively farming within Yellowhead County can call our Wildwood Office at 780-325-3782 or 1-800-814-3935 and register to have your name put into the draws.

The registration deadline is October 15 @ 4:30pm to get your name entered into the draws. The draws will take place on October 20 and winners will be contacted via phone and later announced in the paper and on our Facebook page.
