Yellowhead County Agricultural Services is now accepting nominations for outstanding farm families in Yellowhead County communities!
We want to acknowledge the contributions and enhancements farm families make to the quality of life in the communities in which they live, and we need your help!

Award Details:
- Nominators can visit bit.ly/yhcproduceraward to nominate a deserving Yellowhead County agricultural producer by answering a few short questions
- Equal consideration is to be given to the family’s role in agriculture and their community involvement.
- The deadline for nominations is August 31, 2025
- After the deadline, an outstanding producer will be selected to receive the Agricultural Producer Award
- The selected producer will be recognized at our Annual Agricultural Services Supper on November 5, 2025 at the Wildwood Hall (alternate presentations may be considered)
- The selected producer will also receive a gate sign and a certificate of recognition (to be awarded in the year following the application)
- The recipient will choose the family or farm/ranch name and design of the sign. Yellowhead County will commission a sign designer and facilitate consultation between the applicant and the designer.
- All signs will have the Yellowhead County logo present. Signs are metal and powder coated. Dimensions will not exceed 1.3 meters by 1.3 meters.
